Beauty with a Purpose
which was created by Julia Morey in1972 has always been a major part in Miss World
Pageant. All these years, the contestants of Miss World has been presenting
their Beauty as well as taking part in different charitable process to help
humanitarian Project across the world.
In this process, Our
Miss Nepal has also been doing their part effortlessly. All the winners of Miss
Nepal are actively participating in many social works, charitable events, etc
for the sake of people around Nepal. In these few years, we have seen many
amazing and impressive projects in Miss World Competition initiated by our
winners of Miss Nepal. With Ishani Shrestha’s Project Smile as the Winner of
Beauty with a purpose award in 2013, few Projects such as, “Rahat Siraha” by
Shristi Shrestha, Student for Students by Subin Limbu, Travel for relief by
Evana Manandar has also been successful in a way and other. They not only
initiated these projects for the Competition, but they vowed not stop their
campaigns until their works has made a positive impact in the lives of people.
And so far, they have done some great works.
Classroom and beyond,
this year’s Beauty with a Purpose project initiated by Our Miss Nepal World
Asmi Shrestha. Classroom and beyond is a project to build school to those kids
who were affected by devastating earthquake. In my words, this project is
actually very thoughtful. She has been collecting help from different
organization and individuals for this initiative and has been really
successful. This project is not only helpful to the kids in the present; also
it is a great opportunity to every kid that will be growing in that area in
near future.
Every Beauty Queens,
who desire to achieve something, needs an immense support from us (i.e.
Public). If we want see them representing Nepal in an international platform or
playing their part in the society, helping people who are in need or anyone, we
are suppose to support them. This support can be anything; even a contribution,
good word or a praise. Asmi Shrestha, is in the Final Phase of Classroom and
Beyond and is doing an amazing job.
